ABLE Library
Here Karen Gravelin is interviewed about the ABLE Library and the ABLE library services, which are free audio books for the blind and print disabled. (about 15 minutes). The ABLE Library, a program of the Vermont Department of Libraries, is a free talking book and braille library service providing large print and other reading formats to qualified patrons. We are also a network library for the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS), which is part of the Library of Congress. Able Library serves patrons who are blind, visually impaired, or have a physical or reading disability that stops them from being able to read standard print. This service is available to anyone who qualifies and lives in Vermont.
