Disaster Master Club (Ages 10–14)
Be prepared, build confidence, and have fun with Disaster Master Club! This interactive virtual club helps youth learn practical emergency preparedness skills while making new friends in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Participants will explore how to prepare for a variety of emergencies, build confidence in problem-solving, and create their own personalized disaster preparedness kit using $75 worth of disaster preparedness supplies provided through the program.
This free club is designed to be accessible and engaging for youth while encouraging disability pride, self-advocacy, and independent living skills. The program is led by disabled youth and adults and offers a low-demand participation experience with no video or voice participation requirements, making it welcoming for a variety of communication styles and support needs.
