Virtual Art Hangout (Ages 12–24)
Get creative, connect with friends, and explore new ideas in Virtual Art Hangout! This welcoming four-week online club is a fun space where disabled Vermont youth can create art together, share inspiration, ask questions, and enjoy spending time with peers who have similar interests.
Whether you enjoy drawing, painting, crafting, or trying something new, Virtual Art Hangout offers a supportive environment to express yourself, build confidence, and make meaningful connections. New club members can choose up to $50 worth of art and craft supplies, so you’ll have everything you need to participate from home.
This free program is open to disabled Vermont youth ages 12–24 and is presented by the Vermont Center for Independent Living (VCIL) and funded through a grant from Vermont Pathways to Partnerships (P2P).
The club also promotes disability pride, self-advocacy, and independent living skills in a low-demand environment. It is led by disabled youth and adults, with no video or voice participation requirements, making it accessible for a variety of communication styles and support needs.
